Calling all female hockey players and their families! The Manitoba Women’s High School Hockey League invites Grade 9 & 10 students from participating schools to the Rookie Showcase, happening April 25-28, 2024, at the Southdale Community Centre. This event includes three guaranteed games: a playoff round, a championship game, and a skills session designed to showcase and embrace our young talent. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to be part of our first Rookie Showcase!

Details:

• Individuals must register on their own; schools are NOT required to submit teams.

• Open to Grade 9 & 10 female players from participating schools. (May or may not have played high school hockey)

• Players MUST attend a current MWHSHL school. (2023-2024) 

• Players from one school MAY be split over 2 teams when the number of participants from that school exceeds 3.  Teams will be organized based on individual registrations.

• U18 Female AAA coaches will be in attendance.

• Each player will receive a MWHSHL Rookie Showcase t-shirt.

 

Format:

• 3 - games guaranteed

• Play-off round with a championship game

• 1 hour skills session

 

Dates:

• April 25-27, 2024, Southdale Community Centre

 

Cost:

• $125 (non-refundable)

 

NOTE:  Only participating schools will be listed on the registration form.  If your school is not listed, please talk to your school’s female hockey coach or manager.
