The Manitoba Women’s High School Hockey League invites Grade 9 & 10 students from participating schools to the Rookie Showcase, happening April 14-17th, 2025, at the Southdale Community Centre. This event includes three guaranteed games: a playoff round, a championship game, and a skills session designed to showcase and embrace our young talent. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to be part of our first Rookie Showcase!

Details:

• Individual Registration Only: Players must register themselves; schools are not required to submit teams.

• Eligibility: Open to Grade 9 and 10 female players from participating schools. (Players may or may not have prior high school hockey experience.)

• Non-MWHSHL Schools: Schools not currently in the MWHSHL can email mwhshlrookieshowcase@gmail.com to register their school.

• Players from the same school may be split on to two teams if the school has more than three participants.

• Teams will be organized based on individual registrations.

• Each participant will receive an MWHSHL Rookie Showcase gift.

 

Format:

• 3 - games guaranteed

• Play-off round with a championship game

• Skills session

 

Dates:

• April 14-17th, 2025, Southdale Community Centre

 

Cost:

• $125 (non-refundable)

 

NOTE:  Only participating schools will be listed on the registration form.  If your school is not listed, please talk to your school’s female hockey coach, manager or your Physical Education Department.
